Ukrainian World Congress calls to participate in International Human Rights Day 10 December 2016
It’s time for each of us to step up for human rights. There is no action that is too small: wherever you are, you can make a difference.
Together, let’s take a stand for more humanity.

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls upon all communities worldwide, individuals and organizations alike, to actively raise awareness of the human rights violations being suffered by Ukrainians in the Russian Federation, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the territories of Eastern Ukraine illegally occupied by the Russian Federation.
The UWC encourages individuals and organizations alike to organize initiatives to coincide with International Human Rights Day on 10 December, and to take part in activities organized by organizations such as the United Nations and human rights organizations such as Amnesty International among others.
Universities and colleges actively organize 10 December events and the UWC encourages youth and students to engage in these activities with the goal of raising awareness of the plight of Ukrainians suffering as a direct result of Russian aggression in Ukraine.

“On 10 December 2016, be the voice of a Ukrainian political prisoner in the Russian Federation who suffers indignities daily, and cannot speak for himself, and the voice of every Ukrainian being persecuted for defending the right of the Ukrainian people to live in freedom and dignity,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
