On November 26, 2020, the Ukrainian World Congress Economic Prosperity and Investment Committee (EPIC) participated in a panel discussion on Ukraine’s economic reforms at “The Dialogues about Reforms” Forum held within the framework of the Ukraine Reform Conference.
Natalia Nemyliwska, Director of EPIC delivered remarks at the Forum and emphasized the need to maximize the potential of the of Ukrainian diaspora worldwide in promoting and supporting Ukraine’s economic reform agenda.
“We are as a diverse but connected group, which is intrinsically and emotionally connected to Ukraine. We want Ukraine to succeed and prosper. We are, simply put, a strategic but still underused group, an audience that Ukraine should be engaging in a systemic manner to support and promote Ukraine’s economic reform agenda”, Nemyliwska said.
Nemyliwska concluded her intervention by emphasizing that the Ukrainian diaspora is well-positioned to support Ukraine in multiple ways, including building bridges and connections with the international business community, offering additional independent external advice on Ukraine’s economic reforms, and serving as Ukraine’s communication ambassadors in our home countries.
