The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations (AFUO) will hold an online webinar in its series of “Ukraine Writes Back: Writers, Poets and the War” on Sept. 19.
The event seeks to amplify Ukrainian voices during the war and explore the role of literature and poetry in today’s context.
The discussion will feature renowned Ukrainian authors Viktoriia Grivina and Yaryna Chornohuz, in conversation with moderator Iryna Skubii.
“Writers Yaryna Chornoguz and Viktoria Grivina, who have direct experience of living in Ukraine – whether on the frontlines or in Kharkiv, a city under daily bombardment – will reflect on their writing during the war,” the organizers said.
The webinar is supported by the Arts Faculty Research Initiative on Post-Soviet Space at the University of Melbourne and the Ukrainian Studies Association of Australia and New Zealand.
Registration for the webinar is available via the following link.
