Ukraine overnight launches Flamingo cruise missile strikes on Russian military and oil facilities
Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a large-scale overnight strike on Nov. 13, striking dozens of targets in Russia and occupied Ukrainian territories with domestically produced Flamingo cruise missiles, as well as Bars and Liutyi missiles, along with drones, the General Staff said.
The attacks targeted multiple military and logistical sites, including the Morskoy oil terminal and a helicopter parking area at the Kirovske airfield in the occupied Crimean Peninsula, as well as a Russian air defense radar station near Yevpatoria there.
In the occupied part of southern Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces struck an oil depot near Berdyansk and command posts of Russia’s 5th Combined Arms Army and 127th Motorized Rifle Division. Additional targets inside Russia were also hit, though the extent of the damage is still being assessed.
The General Staff said Ukraine continues to carry out “systematic fire strikes” on facilities supporting the Russian military’s operations and supply chain, aiming to weaken Moscow’s offensive and industrial capabilities.

Ukrainian border guards destroy Russian D-20 howitzer with precision drone strike. Ukrainian border guards from the “Steel Border” rapid response unit used a fiber-optic–guided drone to destroy a camouflaged Russian D-20 howitzer deep behind enemy lines in the northern Slobozhanskyi sector in the region of Kharkiv, the State Border Guard Service said Nov. 13.
Operators from the “Aquila” drone swarm of the 15th Mobile Border Detachment located the artillery piece more than 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the front line. Despite dense forest cover, the drone maneuvered between trees and scored a direct hit.

- Ukrainian forces will need to defend against Russian operational-level command and control nodeand tactical-level interdiction to counter this new Russian campaign design.
