Representatives of the European Congress of Ukrainians (ECU) met with Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, during his official visit to the Czech Republic, the organization reported.
The meeting took place on June 13 in Prague, the nation’s capital.
“Members of the ‘Drones for Ukraine’ initiative, which operates under the auspices of the European Congress of Ukrainians, presented Minister Sybiha with a ‘Unity Flag’,” the statement reads.
The flag symbolizes the unity of Czech, Slovak, and Ukrainian volunteers who have long been delivering drones and other technical equipment to the front lines.
“The flag has also been presented to the presidents of Ukraine and the Czech Republic,” ECU said.
During his visit, Sybiha also took part in the international GLOBSEC security conference held in Prague and paid tribute at the grave of Ivan Horbachevskyi — a prominent Ukrainian scholar and political figure.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Czech-Ukrainian Academic Society, ECU said.
