Los Angeles to host first Ukrainian Documentary Festival ‘Cinema of Resilience’

Los Angeles from Nov. 21–23 2025 will host the inaugural Cinema of Resilience, a Ukrainian documentary film festival that spotlights the unbreakable spirit of Ukraine and its people. 

The three-day event, held at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Los Angeles and which is co-organized with the Ukrainian Art Center, will gather award-winning films, director question-and-answer sessions, and community discussions. 

Audiences will have the opportunity to connect directly with authentic voices from Ukraine and explore how ordinary people confront extraordinary challenges.

The festival will be a major cultural event for Los Angeles’ Ukrainian community, offering a space for solidarity, reflection, and hope. Organizers invite everyone this November to experience stories of Ukrainian resilience on the big screen.
