This year’s annual Nordic Ukraine Advocacy Summit will take place on June 6 and 7 in Oslo. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Community in Norway, the Association of Ukrainians in Finland, and the Nordic Ukraine Forum from Sweden, with support from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Fritt Ord Foundation, and the Municipality of Oslo.

The summit will open on June 6 with addresses from Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress; Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former NATO Secretary General; and Oleksiy Gavrysh, the newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway.

Speakers will include members of parliament, government officials, security experts, and representatives from non-governmental organizations from Nordic countries and Ukraine. They will discuss new global geopolitical realities, security challenges for Europe and the Nordic countries, the threat of disinformation and cybersecurity, and the role of civil society in crisis response.

The summit’s goal is to strengthen cooperation among Ukrainian organizations in Northern Europe, foster security collaboration between the region and Ukraine, and advocate for continued support for Ukraine.

“With a clear understanding of the Russian threat, the people of the Nordic and Baltic countries have shown the highest level of support for Ukraine. We hope they will share this understanding with the rest of Europe and the world,” the organizers added.

The event will be livestreamed on YouTube on June 6th from 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM CET. Join by the link.
