The Ukrainian World Congress Honorary Diploma for Meritorious Accomplishments
HONORARY DIPLOMA FOR MERITORIOUS ACCOMPLISHMENTS IS AWARDED
to individuals who demonstrate an exceptional leadership skills, dedication and impact in consolidating Ukrainian communities, mobilizing support of Ukraine and developing the Ukrainian diaspora. This Award honors individuals whose efforts significantly helped to promote unity, resilience and global cooperation of Ukrainians.
NOMINATION FORMCandidates for the Award must demonstrate a significant contribution to one or more of the following fields:
- Leadership in organization and consolidation of the Ukrainian communities;
- Public initiatives and advocacy to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and recovery;
- Efforts to mobilize resources, partnerships and cooperation for the future of Ukraine;
- Popularization of cultural, historical and social identity of Ukrainians around the world.
Individuals who show dedication, leadership skills and key role in mobilization of the Ukrainian initiatives locally, nation-wide or worldwide can be the recipients of this Honorary Diploma.
Nomination and selection
Nominations can be submitted by the following organizations/ individuals:- Ukrainian national organizations and institutions;
- Public leaders, diaspora representatives and previous laureates;
- Members of the Awards Committee.
Each nomination should contain the following:
1. Written description highlighting candidate’s contributions.
2. Supporting materials, such as reviews and documents on the leadership initiatives and advocacy.
The UWC Honorary Diploma for Meritorious Accomplishments is awarded at the grand ceremony. Laureates are given an honorary certificate, and their accomplishments are recognized publicly to inspire further dedication and active participation.
As opposed to the St. Volodymyr the Great Medal, the UWC Honorary Diploma for Meritorious Accomplishments is focused on public leadership, consolidation of communities and real contribution to the development of Ukraine.
