Russia is conducting an active propaganda campaign not only in Europe, but also in North America and countries of the Global South, said Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), during an interview with the Espreso TV channel while visiting Lviv.
“Russian propaganda is very active in Brazil, Argentina, and other countries. We have to fight it. It’s not easy, but Russia must feel defeat,” Grod said.
He said that the most powerful weapon of Ukrainians abroad is the truth.
“We call on every concerned Ukrainian to actively speak the truth, to explain the situation, who the aggressor is, who the victim is, and to highlight Russia’s war crimes, so that politicians and the public remember,” the UWC President said.
Grod said that global Ukrainians must systematically inform the public and policymakers about the situation in Ukraine.
“The world is truly on our side, and we will win. The key is that the truth must be heard,” he added.
