The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) is seeking a full‑time Fundraising Coordinator / Researcher to help drive its global development and fundraising strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to strengthen international support for Ukraine and advance programs that defend democracy, empower communities, and secure Ukraine’s long‑term future.
The Impact
As Fundraising Coordinator / Researcher, you will expand UWC’s fundraising capacity at a pivotal moment for Ukraine’s independence and global standing. Working closely with UWC’s Chief Development Officer, influential partners, and a worldwide network of supporters, you will help build donor relationships, shape campaigns, and conduct research that fuels high‑impact fundraising efforts. Your work will directly bolster Ukraine’s defenders, amplify global advocacy, and sustain initiatives that protect freedom and strengthen Ukrainian communities worldwide.
Responsibilities
Fundraising Support
- Advance the global fundraising strategy in partnership with the Business Development Director.
- Spot new growth opportunities by analyzing performance, markets, and audience segments.
- Create compelling materials and engagement moments that deepen donor loyalty and long‑term commitment.
Donor Relations & Engagement
- Strengthen relationships with current donors and nurture enduring partnerships.
- Identify and engage new prospects across individuals, corporations, foundations, and philanthropic networks.
- Support high‑impact donor touchpoints including booking events, meetings, and outreach.
- Conduct research to inform strategy and unlock new partnership pathways.
- Craft tailored pitches and communications that inspire action.
- Maintain accurate donor data and ensure strong ‘CRM hygiene’ (DonorPerfect).
Campaign Coordination
- Support and scale key fundraising campaigns across global audiences.
- Contribute ideas and research for fresh, resonant initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to shape powerful campaign messaging.
Team Collaboration
- Work cross‑functionally with finance, communications, and program teams to ensure aligned, seamless execution.
- Support shared initiatives that elevate UWC’s fundraising impact.
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Track core fundraising metrics to monitor progress and performance.
- Prepare clear updates on results, projections, and donor activity for leadership.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and strengthen outcomes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or research, ideally within an international NGO.
- Proven contribution to successful fundraising programs.
Technical Skills
- Comfort with fundraising and CRM systems and digital engagement tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Understanding of fundraising best practices, trends, and compliance.
