Recognized by the UN Economic and Social Council, UWC advocates for Ukraine’s Eurointegration, NATO membership, recognition of the Holodomor as genocide, and the protection of human and minority rights. The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) unites a global network of Ukrainian communities and organizations across more than 80 countries, including 132 member organizations in 52 countries. Through this worldwide presence, UWC strengthens international support for Ukraine and amplifies its voice on the global stage.

UWC Supports Ukraine’s Defenders
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, UWC has played a central role in mobilizing the global Ukrainian community. Through the Ukrainian World Congress Unite With Ukraine initiative, we have raised and delivered $110 million in life-saving support, providing protective equipment, medical supplies, and critical aid to Ukraine’s defenders on the front lines.

UWC leads international efforts to hold Russia accountable for its crimes, including the deportation of Ukrainian children.
We work with governments, international organizations, and partners worldwide to advance justice, strengthen sanctions, and ensure long-term security for Ukraine and the democratic world.
Beyond emergency response, UWC focuses on Ukraine’s recovery and future, strengthening democratic institutions, supporting reconstruction, and building lasting global partnerships.
The Ukrainian World Congress continues to raise funds and source critical electrical equipment through its Energize Ukraine campaign, supporting Ukraine’s energy resilience amid ongoing attacks on infrastructure.
