Alexandra Chyczij named top Canadian lawyer for human rights in Ukraine

The Ukrainian World Congress congratulates UCC National – Ukrainian Canadian Congress National President Alexandra Chyczij on being named one of Canada’s Top 25 Influential Lawyers by Canadian Lawyer’s magazine.

“UWC sincerely congratulates Alexandra Chyszij on earning this distinguished award for her vital work in human rights and advocacy, shaping the Canadian government’s response to Russia’s unprovoked aggression. We are grateful for her accomplishments on behalf of our shared Ukrainian homeland”, stated UWC President Paul Grod

This prestigious award is granted to lawyers who have “influenced the legal system over the last 18 months in the following areas: changemakers; human rights, advocacy and criminal law; business; in-house; and government, non-profits or associations,” and is voted on by readers of Canadian Lawyers Magazine and established by the editorial board.
