Another terrorist attack: Russians shelled a Zaporizhzhia residential area

On March 22, late evening, search and rescue operations finished in Zaporizhzhia, on the territory of two high-rise buildings in a residential area of the city, which Russians shelled via Smerch multiple rocket launchers the day before. The missiles caused a fire with a total area of 250 square meters.

“Not a single military target! Two Russian missiles into a residential high-rise building – a strategic target for the troops of the terrorist state. Another war crime was committed in the middle of the day in a residential area of a city of thousands!” reads the statement of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

The miraculously rescued residents shared their stories with TSN journalists.

Mr. Serhiy says he received cuts all over his body, but immediately after the impact, he quickly grabbed his child and ran out of the apartment when “everything was falling on his head.”

His neighbor, Maria, is shocked – she miraculously escaped with her children. “We were lucky. My kids and I went for a walk half an hour before. As they say, God took us away. Everything is just shaking,” the woman says.

School assignments saved another family – the mother was helping her children with their schoolwork in their car. The car protected them from the deadly debris.

As a result of the rescue operation, six people and two dogs were evacuated from the building.

As a result of the enemy shelling, 32 people were injured, including 20 men, nine women, and three children. Twenty-eight people were hospitalized. One woman died in the hospital from injuries incompatible with life.
