The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, said that the decision to provide Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles is under consideration.
“We’re working on that,” Biden said in response to Bloomberg’s journalist question.
Asked if he is thinking yet about sending ATACMS to Ukraine, Biden told me: Yes, but they already have the equivalent of atacms and what they need most of all is artillery shells. “We're working on that,” he said on tarmac as we left Vilnius. pic.twitter.com/r9kywIWKrF

At the same time, the American president added: [the Armed Forces of Ukraine] already have the equivalent of ATACMS, and they need most of all artillery shells. European Pravda suggests that Biden was referring to the Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles.
ATACMS are American tactical missiles with a range of more than 466 kilometers. The weapon has been the subject of intense debate for months. In June, US lawmakers again called on President Joe Biden to provide long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
Earlier, President Joe Biden stated that the United States of America is considering providing ATACMS long-range missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, the White House spokesman later reported that the administration’s policy on this issue has not changed. Therefore, the supply of missiles is still unlikely – the States justify this by the risk of reducing the stocks of such shells in the American military.
