Director of the UWC Mission in Ukraine, Serhiy Kasyanchuk, was appointed a member of the Secretariat of the 7th Session of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Patriarchal Council (Sobor).
“The Ukrainian World Congress is one of the leading partners in preparation for the UGCC Patriarchal Sobor,” says Serhiy Kasyanchuk. “We are working closely on the development of a strategy for cooperation between the Ukrainian World Congress and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Together we will work to build and strengthen our communities around the world.”
According to the decision of the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC 2018, the Council (Sobor) will be held this year on August 26-29 in Lviv, Ukraine.
