Come Back Alive, Ukrainian World Congress, and Saint Javelin deliver lifesaving equipment to Ukrainian medics

Kyiv, Ukraine, October 16, 2025

Ukrainian medics on the front lines have received new portable oxygen concentrators through a joint effort by the Come Back Alive Foundation, the Unite With Ukraine initiative of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), and Saint Javelin, a result of the global Heroes Ukraine fundraising campaign.

A total of 80 SAROS 3000 portable oxygen concentrators have been delivered to the National Guard of Ukraine, providing a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional oxygen cylinders. Of these, 65 units were supplied to medical teams from AZOV Corps and Khartia Corps, while an additional 15 will be provided to combat medics serving with the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

The purchase and delivery were made possible through the Heroes Ukraine fundraiser, an international campaign led by the Ukrainian World Congress and Come Back Alive, with support from Saint Javelin, the global Ukrainian community, and friends of Ukraine worldwide. The campaign mobilized thousands of donors around the world and raised funds to provide critical medical equipment to Ukrainian medics.

“Do not think that your donations are just a drop in the ocean. They are incredibly important, especially now. The war is not over, it continues. So invest in Ukraine’s independence and its defenders,” said Andrew Potichnyj, Director of the Unite With Ukraine initiative of the UWC.

The introduction of SAROS 3000 portable oxygen concentrators has significantly improved the ability of medics to deliver lifesaving care in combat zones and during evacuations. Unlike heavy oxygen cylinders that require constant replacement and pose logistical and safety challenges, these concentrators generate medical-grade oxygen directly from the air. This allows medics to stabilize injured soldiers faster, extend treatment times during transport, and provide continuous oxygen support in remote or high-risk environments where resupply is often impossible.

For Come Back Alive, this initiative represents an important milestone and the beginning of long-term cooperation with the Ukrainian World Congress. For Ukraine’s defenders, it provides essential support that strengthens battlefield medical care and improves survival rates.

This initiative stands as a strong example of how different organizations can unite around a shared mission and achieve meaningful results. Through collaboration, coordination, and a common commitment to saving lives, Come Back Alive, the Ukrainian World Congress, and Saint Javelin have shown the power of partnership in delivering real impact for those on the front lines.

As the war continues, ongoing support for Ukraine’s defenders remains vital. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that soldiers and medics have the equipment, training, and resources they need to save lives and protect their country’s independence. Sustained global solidarity is not only a lifeline for those on the battlefield but also a reaffirmation of the shared values of freedom and resilience that unite Ukraine and its supporters around the world.
