
The “CREATE UKRAINE” program, funded by Lithuania, has announced the launch of a new intake of young and talented Ukrainians from the diaspora. The program aims to engage them in advisory teams within ministries and key state institutions of Ukraine.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of priority national projects and to advance Ukraine’s integration into the European Union. The program is designed to repatriate Ukrainians who have gained valuable international experience.
“This is a paid opportunity to return home for one year and make a meaningful contribution to Ukraine’s development,” the organizers note.
In 2024, ten professionals joined the pilot stage of the program, working with the team at Ukraine’s Economy Ministry. In 2025, the program will expand to include 25 young professionals who will be selected to work in ministries and key state institutions on Ukraine’s recovery and EU accession process.
Candidate requirements:
- Ukrainian citizenship;
- compliance with age criteria;
- higher education degree;
- relevant professional experience;
- proficiency in foreign languages;
- readiness to work on strategic projects;
- strong motivation.
Over the course of 12 months, program participants will:
- contribute to state-building and European integration processes;
- complete a certification program in government relation from the Kyiv School of Economics;
- gain access to seminars and workshops with leading experts;
- join a community of changemakers;
- participate in training programs on leadership, policy analysis, and project management;
- take part in strategic partnerships between government and civil society;
- work with teams to address Ukraine’s strategic challenges.
