Ukraine runs out of long-range surface-to-air precision strike missiles

Ukraine has likely depleted its supply of long-range Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) missiles, U.S. officials said on March 13according to the Associated Press.
Citing an unnamed U.S. official and a Ukrainian lawmaker on the parliamentary defense committee, AP reported that Kyiv no longer possesses any extended-range ATACMS missiles whose range is up to 190 miles, depending on their modification.
According to the U.S. official, the United States supplied Ukraine with fewer than 40 ATACMS missiles, and the stockpile was exhausted by late January.
“Senior U.S. defense officials, including former Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, have stated that only a limited number of ATACMS would be provided, as the U.S. and NATO allies prioritize other weapon systems they deem more effective for combat operations,” AP reported.
