Registration is now open for the European Forum of the Ukrainian Diaspora Novi Sad 2025 (EFUD) and the Annual Assembly of the European Congress of Ukrainians (ECU), taking place Nov. 28–30 in Novi Sad, Serbia.
This year marks a special milestone for Ukrainian communities across the former Yugoslavia, commemorating 135 years since the organized migration of Ukrainians, organizers say.
The registration is available at the following link.
The forum will bring together representatives of Ukrainian communities from Europe and around the world to honor their history and cultural heritage, discuss current challenges and strategies for community development, and strengthen cooperation amid war, reconstruction, and European integration.
The event will feature a conference and roundtable discussions addressing political representation of national minorities and the diaspora, the role of Ukrainian communities in countering hostile propaganda, preserving language, education, and identity, as well as youth leadership.
A hybrid format for the international conference will allow participants from different countries to join remotely.
The forum is organized by Serbian-based Prosvita Society of language, literature, and culture, together with the ECU. The event provides a platform for sharing experiences, building partnerships, and advancing the development of Ukrainian communities across Europe.
