Representatives of the occupying authorities broke into the State Archives of Kherson Oblast and stole election records including voter lists for 2019.
Personal data of voters of Kherson Oblast could be used by the occupiers to organize a pseudo-referendum to declare Kherson part of Russia.
News of the crime came from a representative of the State Archives who reported that three unidentified men from the so-called Russian military-civil administration for Kherson came to the archive, threatening employees with automatic weapons. They illegally removed fifteen boxes of election records from the archives. Criminal proceedings have been instituted by the Ukrainian National Police of Kherson Oblast.
