Dear Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine,
As we welcome in the New Year, I extend my sincere greetings to all of you on behalf of the Ukrainian World Congress and our member organizations in over 70 countries representing a 20M strong Ukrainian diaspora.
Today, our thoughts and prayers are with the brave men and women of Ukraine’s Armed Forces who are bravely fighting on the snowy and cold frontlines, defending their families and homeland from Russia’s genocidal invasion.
I extend our greetings and best wishes to Ukraine’s President, Prime Minister and Ministers, Chairperson and Members of Parliament, Hierarchs and clergy of our Ukrainian Churches, dedicated volunteers, our community leaders, donors, and supporters, and friends of Ukraine worldwide.
As we welcome in the new year, please also remember those Ukrainians suffering almost daily missile and drone attacks, and especially the thousands of abducted Ukrainian children who are being indoctrinated in Russia today.
In these challenging times, it is critical that we advocate for Ukraine on a daily basis and provide meaningful support to its victory.
We call upon all civilized nations to enhance their support to Ukraine by significantly increasing their military, financial and political assistance, including increased sanctions on Russia.
