Germany will send new howitzers to Ukraine in the coming weeks. MLRS supplies are expected along with the artillery. This was announced by German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldguzen during the UA Together news telethon.
According to Ms Feldguzen, in addition to howitzers, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive HIMARS rocket systems, which are supplied by the UK and US. “HIMARS are currently being assembled in Europe and the Ukrainian military is learning to work with them,” stated Ms Feldguzen.
In addition, Mr Zeldguzen said that modern anti-ballistic air defense systems, still in production, are expected closer to October, as previously announced by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
