Over €10 million in 10 days: World unites for ‘Warmth for Ukraine’ campaign

More than €10 million has been raised in just 10 days as part of the international charity campaign “Warmth for Ukraine,” initiated by Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and supported by the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC).

Aid is arriving daily: hundreds of generators, boilers, and transformers. In addition to support from non-governmental initiatives, meaning contributions from private individuals, there is also governmental backing,” said Ukraine’s Foreign Affairs Minister Andrii Sybiha.

Funds are coming from all over the world, including donations from governments, businesses, and concerned citizens.

As Russia is intensifying its energy terror against our cities, we call on international partners, businesses, financial institutions, foundations, and corporate networks to join this fundraising effort,” the ministry said.

Earlier, Sybiha expressed gratitude to the UWC for agreeing to partner with the Ukrainian government in organizing a global fundraiser for heating support. He also urged Ukrainians around the world to contribute to the campaign.

The UWC has opened a dedicated bank account for donations and is calling on Ukrainian communities and friends of Ukraine worldwide to act immediately.

Amid severe cold, Russia is deliberately targeting critical infrastructure that provides heat, electricity, and basic safety for millions of people. Entire cities, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and residential buildings are left without power and heating. For many families, this is not a matter of comfort — it is a matter of survival.

The UWC emphasizes that international solidarity today has a direct, tangible impact: it helps Ukraine endure, protects civilians, and prevents Russia from achieving its goal of breaking people through cold and darkness.
