Russia planned terrorist attack on ZNPP

Russian troops continue stockpiling ammunition and explosives at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The first, second and fourth power units’ territory is used as a logistics and military base.

“The ruscists’ personnel, armored vehicles and trucks are permanently stationed at these sites. … From 5 to 20 items of equipment are present near each energy block throughout the day. The rotation occurs covertly during the curfew hours (from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.). All trucks are tightly covered,” Ukraine’s intelligence states. 

ZNPP employees, who are supposed to inspect power units, are not allowed on the controlled territory. Those who tried to conduct checks were beaten and tortured. Several Ukrainian specialists are hospitalized with severe conditions.

Recently, the intelligence of Ukraine announced that the Russians are preparing an attack on the territory of the ZNPP. The occupiers want to simulate a radiation hazard. This is how Russia seeks to disrupt the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
