The UWC delegation will join the International Security Forum in Halifax

On November 18-20, 2022, in Halifax, Canada, the delegation of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) will join the International Security Forum. Traditionally, democratic countries’ government representatives, leading political scientists, and experts in the field of international relations, security, and defense attend the Forum. 

According to the hosts, if in the previous years the Forum focused on the threats to world democracies, this year the spotlight will be on the threats to world security caused by the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Among the issues that will be considered at the Halifax Forum are food and energy security, countering disinformation, and the definitive victory of Ukraine.

The Halifax International Security Forum (HFX) was established in 2009 with generous support from the Canadian government and operated as part of the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Since 2011, HFX has been operating as an independent organization.
