The first free Ukrainian language course “Ukrainian for Everyone” in Abu Dhabi has successfully concluded, announced Yevheniy Semenov, UWC Vice President for Middle East and Central Asia.
“For nine months, international students from the UAE and around the world gathered almost weekly in the capital under the attentive guidance of our dear Ms. Zhenia. Together, they learned the basics, practiced real-life situations, and developed conversational skills to reach an A1 proficiency level,” Semenov said.
The initiative saw seven out of ten students complete the full course, who demonstrated strong motivation, responsibility, curiosity, and clear progress in their Ukrainian language skills.
“We are grateful to each participant — and a special thank you to Yevheniia Kryklyvets for her inspiring volunteer leadership, warmth, and the knowledge she brought to every class,” Semenov said.
New courses will launch in Abu Dhabi this fall, with options for both beginners and more advanced learners. Registration is available via the following link.
“We’re not just learning a language — we’re building bridges between cultures. Let’s grow the global Ukrainian-speaking community together!” Semenov said.
