Ukrainian World Congress condemns terrorist attack in Berlin

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) joins the international community in strongly condemning the terrorist attack in Berlin, Germany, on 19 December 2016 which resulted in numerous deaths and casualties among visitors to a Christmas market.

On behalf of the 20-million strong Ukrainian diaspora, the UWC expresses sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and prays for all those injured in this senseless act of terrorism.

“The Ukrainian World Congress expresses solidarity with the German people and calls upon the international community to remain vigilant in the wake of terrorist acts that continue to disrupt peace and challenge global security,” said the UWC President Eugene Czolij.
