Ukrainian World Congress welcomes ratification of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement by the European Parliament and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) welcomes the simultaneous ratification on 16 September 2014 of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement by the European Parliament and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
This historic moment was a concrete realization of the will of the Ukrainian people and a decisive step in the European development of Ukraine, including its accession into the European Union.
“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon all member states of the EU that have not yet ratified the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement to do so before the end of 2014 and thereby help accelerate Ukraine’s full Euro-integration,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
