UWC condemns ‘pseudo-elections’ in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine

This sham, orchestrated by Russia-backed terrorists, was held in flagrant violation of Ukraine law and in defiance of the will of the Ukrainian people as expressed during the recently held Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
 

“The ‘pseudo-elections’ held in the terrorist-controlled territories of Eastern Ukraine undermine the Minsk agreements of 5 and 19 September 2014 and serve as further testimony to the unwillingness of the Russian Federation to bring an end to its aggression against Ukraine and its people,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
