UWC congratulates U.S. Senate and calls on U.S. House of Representatives to pass the Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014

Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014 authorizes defensive military assistance for Ukraine and granting it Major non-NATO Ally Status by the United States.
 

“The Ukrainian World Congress welcomes the passing by the U.S. Senate of Bill S.2828 – Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014 which will help Ukraine defend itself from a foreign aggressor and contribute to ensure the respect of our universal values and to preserve global peace and security,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij. “We now call upon the U.S. House of Representatives to pass the companion Bill H.R.5782 – Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014with similar expediency.”
