TORONTO — The delegation of the Ukrainian World Congress, led by President Paul Grod and Executive Director Roman Zyla, took part in the 4th Annual Rebuild Ukraine Business Conference.
Held on Dec. 2 in Canada, the event served as a key international platform focused on Ukraine’s long-term reconstruction and economic modernization.
“The Rebuild Ukraine conference in Toronto demonstrates the strength of existing partnerships between Canada and Ukraine and the unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s recovery. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient Ukraine rooted in prosperity, and hope,” said Paul Grod.

The conference was organized by the Canadian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (CUCC) in partnership with Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy, Export Development Canada, the Business Council of Canada, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine, CEO Club Ukraine, and the Canada EU Trade and Investment Association (CEUTIA).
Discussions centered on coordinating efforts between Canada, Ukraine, the EU, and the UK to attract private investment, align government priorities, and strengthen international cooperation in reconstruction efforts.
Speakers included Canada’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Natalka Cmoc, and Special Representative for Ukraine’s Reconstruction, Chrystia Freeland. They emphasized Canada’s strategic role in supporting Ukraine’s economy and the importance of systematic collaboration with international partners.
