UWC President to discuss Ukraine’s Euro-integration

with high-ranking Council of Europe officials in Strasbourg

 

On 22 April 2013, Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij began a four-day working visit to Strasbourg, France. 

 

During this visit, the UWC President will meet with high-ranking Council of Europe officials to discuss the importance of expediting Ukraine’s Euro-integration. Discussions will focus on issues related to the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, the adherence of Ukraine’s governing authorities to fundamental European values and the danger of Ukraine joining the Eurasian Customs Union.

 

Eugene Czolij will also convey the UWC’s support for the 18 April 2013 amendments adopted by the European Parliament to the Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine on the facilitation of the issuance of visas.
