President Zelensky visited liberated Kherson

Today, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Kherson, where he met with its liberators and citizens, and also took part in the raising of the National Flag of Ukraine on the central square of the de-occupied city. This is stated on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

After thanking the Ukrainian warriors who took part in the liberation of Kherson Oblast, the President said that it was an honor for him to be with them in Kherson, Ukraine.

“This makes my heart and soul very warm. I want to thank you for who you are and for returning Ukraine to Kherson Oblast. We are returning our Armed Forces, our state, our flag,” Zelensky said.

He described the enormous destruction that the Russian troops left behind. “This is what the Russian Federation did to our country, it showed the whole world that it can kill. But all of us, our Armed Forces, our National Guard, intelligence services have shown that it is impossible to kill Ukraine,” the President emphasized.

Zelensky also spoke with the residents of Kherson, as well as with media representatives, whom he urged to tell the whole world about how the people of Kherson lived during the occupation.
