4 weeks with HIMARS

Petro Shuklinov, a well-known war correspondent since the beginning of the war in Donbas, summed up 4 weeks with HIMARS on his Telegram channel.

More than 50 large targets were destroyed: command centers, arsenals, oil depots, and missile depots.

Without ammunition, Russian artillery lost 60-70% of its effectiveness. Frontal shelling has “shrunk” several times. And currently, while the Russians are thinking about how to deliver missiles and projectiles in the new reality, a temporary parity in long-range weapons has been achieved.

The limited number of M142 HIMARS machines (only 12 units) ensured the halting of the Russian artillery. Additional systems will make it possible to move from strategic goals to tactical level goals.
