Eugene Czolij delivers keynote address during Official Opening of X Ukrainian World Congress


 


On 20 August 2013, Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij delivered the keynote address during the Official Opening Ceremony of the X Ukrainian World Congress held at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.


 


In his address, Eugene Czolij highlighted all aspects of UWC’s work with particular emphasis on the campaign to promote Ukraine’s Euro-integration.


 


“We will support our people in the consolidation of Ukrainian statehood through European integration and the signing in November 2013 of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement,” stated Eugene Czolij.


 


Noting his visits to Ukrainian communities in 32 countries of the world, the UWC President spoke of the unique opportunities which allowed him to experience first hand the great accomplishments of the Ukrainian diaspora.


 


“These accomplishments reaffirmed my conviction in the great potential of the global Ukrainian community,” declared the UWC President.
