An additional 3,300 base transceiver stations were put into operation throughout Ukraine over the weekend, Digital Transformation Minister Mykhaylo Fedorov wrote on Telegram.
“This means hundreds of thousands of subscribers who have finally got access to mobile communication and the internet,” he said.
According to the minister, half of Odesa Oblast’s mobile network was out of operation for several days due to Russia’s strikes at the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, but now 80% of the network is already functioning. “The communication reconditioning goes on 24/7 in almost every oblast of the country,” he added.
