Russia will not be able to “drive a wedge” between Ukraine and Poland – Kuleba

Attempts by the Russian president to “drive a wedge” between Kyiv and Warsaw are futile, Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, said. This is how the diplomat reacted to the Kremlin’s statements about Poland’s alleged plans to seize the western Ukrainian regions.

“Putin’s attempts to drive a wedge between Kyiv and Warsaw are as futile as his failing invasion of Ukraine,” Kuleba said.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs added that, unlike Russia, “Poland and Ukraine have learned from history and will always stand united against Russian imperialism and disrespect for international law.”

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland stated, “Historical insinuations by Russian authorities” testify “of Russia’s deeply rooted revisionism and imperialism.”
