Russians kill five civilians in Kharkiv region drawing water

Russian occupiers on July 29 carried out an aerial attack on a group of people waiting to receive humanitarian aid — specifically water — in the village of Novoplatonivka in the Kharkiv region, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported, as covered by Ukrainska Pravda.

Two women and three men were killed in the attack, and four others were injured.

“The strike hit near a store where humanitarian aid — water — was being distributed to civilians. A fire broke out, engulfing the store and a parked vehicle,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Preliminary information indicates that the Russian military used multiple launch rocket systems for the attack.

Additionally, on the same day, a Russian first-person view drone struck Kupiansk in the same region, injuring a 39-year-old man.

Russia attacks Ukrainian cities and villages daily. The Ukrainian World Congress publishes news on the largest shelling incidents. More detailed information on the consequences of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, read the Victory Chronicles.
