TARAS SHEVCHENKO COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL
The Ukrainian World Congress Commemorative Medal “200 years Taras Shevchenko anniversary” was created in 2014 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian prophet Taras Shevchenko to recognize individuals and organizations – members of the Ukrainian diaspora, citizens and non-citizens of Ukraine, for outstanding contribution to the popularization beyond the borders of Ukraine of the creative legacy and celebration of Taras Shevchenko around the world.
