Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Paul Grod will head the UWC delegation to the fourth yearly Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, taking place on July 10–11 in Rome, Italy.
The delegation will include UWC Vice President and UCCA’s Special Envoy for Ukraine affairs Andriy Futey; Zenon Potoczny, Vice President of the Ukrainian World Congress for Operations and President of the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce; Chair of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain Petro Rewko; and UWC Executive Director Roman Zyla.
Representatives from governments, international organizations, financial institutions, the private sector, local authorities, and civil society are scheduled to take part in the conference.
Their commitment is to advance international partnerships and contribute to Ukraine’s recovery beyond reconstruction, but in all aspects of government and society..
This year’s discussions will focus on four key dimensions: the business dimension, human capital, local and regional development, and the European dimension.
As the voice of the global Ukrainian community, Grod will advocate for the active involvement of the diaspora in rebuilding Ukraine.
He is also set to speak during a panel titled “Engaging, Return, and Reintegration of Ukrainians.”
The Ukraine Recovery Conference is a yearly high-level international platform aimed at mobilizing global support for Ukraine’s economic and social stabilization and recovery from the Russo-Ukrainian war’s consequences.
On July 12, Rome’s St. Sophia Cathedral will host the Forum of Ukrainians in Italy — the first gathering of Ukrainian organizations in Italy since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
