UWC extends nomination deadline for highest honors recognizing outstanding global Ukrainian leadership

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) has extended the nomination deadline for its highest award — the St. Volodymyr the Great Medal — as well as the newly established UWC Honorary Diploma for “Meritorious Accomplishments”, and the UWC Global Youth Award “30 Under 30”.

The new deadline to submit nominations is December 31.

We look forward to honoring remarkable individuals who strengthen our communities and help elevate Ukraine’s presence on the global stage.

St. Volodymyr the Great Medal is the highest award of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC). This UWC award honors individuals who demonstrate an exceptional contribution to the development of Ukrainian life in the diaspora and the development of Ukraine. Nominations can be submitted here.

The UWC Honorary Diploma for “Meritorious Accomplishments” recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment, and meaningful contributions to supporting Ukraine and building the global Ukrainian diaspora. Nominations can be submitted here.

The UWC Honorary Diploma for “Meritorious Accomplishments” is the UWC’s newest distinction, established in June 2025. Unlike the organization’s highest honor — the St. Volodymyr the Great Medal — the Diploma focuses specifically on community leadership, grassroots organizing, and tangible contributions to Ukraine’s development.

The UWC Global Youth Award “30 Under 30” initiative was established in honour of Stefan Romaniw. The project recognizes young and active Ukrainians around the world — those who are transforming their communities, supporting Ukraine, and shaping the future. Applications can be submitted via the link.
