UWC President gives address at Lviv Regional Council ceremonial session
On 23 August 2013, Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij gave an address at a ceremonial session of the Lviv Regional Council, called on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of Ukrainian independence.
In his remarks, the UWC President focused on the importance of Ukraine’s Euro-integration and shared his conviction that the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, at the Third Summit of the Eastern Partnership in Vilnius later this year, is critical to the continued development of Ukraine as an independent and democratic state.
Eugene Czolij then greeted the Head of the Lviv Regional Council, Petro Kolodiy, and encouraged him to support Ukraine’s further Euro-integration.
