In a week, the leaders of the EU member states will gather for a summit in Brussels to discuss Ukraine’s application for EU candidate status. This status will be Ukraine’s first step towards full membership in the EU and will launch a process of formal membership negotiations.
That is why we call on Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world to join forces and join the Embrace Ukraine campaign to demonstrate and express strong support for Ukraine’s EU aspirations.
On June 11-12, powerful actions took place in four European capitals. We thank everyone who joined and we urge everyone to continue to support Ukraine with actions on June 18-19 with multiplied force.

“Ukraine is rich in talents in fields from technics and IT to art and design has a multifaceted culture from techno parties to opera, and an army capable of withholding against an aggressor superior in numbers. Moreover, Ukraine demonstrates considerable progress on the path to Eurointegration. Ukraine is unique, like other European countries – but we are equal in our aspiration for a free and prosperous Europe,” – the organizers’ Fb page said.
June 19 at 14:00-16:00 – Dam Square
“On the occasion of Father’s day, we will gather to support Ukrainian defenders and to remind the international community about the war in which Ukrainian men and women side by side heroically defend Ukraine and democratic values. Families with children, join the action! Please, write a letter to our military together with your children or draw a picture as a gift to the soldiers. Bring it to us at Dam Square this Sunday. There we will show letters and drawings during the peaceful demonstration. And later we will pass them on to our defenders together with the next cargo of humanitarian aid, which we will send, ” – Ukrainians in Netherlands said.
