One United Fundraiser delivers 96 more interceptor drones to defend Ukraine’s skies

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), through its Unite with Ukraine initiative, together with the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, Saint Javelin, and Ukraine’s 412th Nemesis Brigade, has delivered 96 additional interceptor drones to Ukrainian military units defending civilians and critical infrastructure from ongoing Russian Shahed drone attacks.

“Here are 96 interceptors that we are delivering to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress. In separate remarks, Grod underscored the urgency of strengthening Ukraine’s defenses: “Civilians are being killed, infrastructure is being destroyed, and people are dying every day because of Russia’s aerial terror.”

The latest delivery includes:

• 60 ZIRKA interceptors for the 412th Nemesis Brigade “Darknode”
• 15 Vovkulaka and Spitfire interceptors for the 82nd Air Assault Brigade
• 21 daytime Sting interceptors equipped with DJI O4 for the Anti-Aircraft Missile Artillery Division “Strazh” – 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov”.

The drones are already being deployed to strengthen Ukraine’s ability to detect and intercept hostile unmanned aerial vehicles before they reach residential communities and critical infrastructure.

The delivery also reflects the rapidly evolving nature of drone warfare. According to Serhiy Prytula, some of the interceptor systems are designed to respond to newer aerial threats, including jet-powered Shaheds.

“Among these interceptors, there are models that are effective against jet-powered Shaheds, which have become a major problem over the past six months,” said Serhiy Prytula, Founder of the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation. “All of these drones were developed and are manufactured in Ukraine. Your support for our efforts is not only helping the Ukrainian military protect Ukrainians, but also supporting the Ukrainian economy.”

The delivery is another tangible result of the One United Fundraiser (Єдинозбір), a global campaign supporting Ukraine with interceptor drones, related technologies, and specialized training.

To date, the One United Fundraiser has raised more than UAH 730 million (approximately CAD 23 million), delivered 5,723 interceptor drones, and, according to campaign figures, contributed to the destruction of 2,520 Shahed drones over Ukrainian skies.

The latest delivery follows the successful One United Fundraiser 2026 North American Tour, organized by the UWC in partnership with the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation and the 412th Nemesis Brigade. The tour mobilized Ukrainian communities and friends of Ukraine across Canada and the United States in support of interceptor technologies used to protect Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.

The broader One United Fundraiser continues toward its goal of UAH 1 billion (approximately CAD 31 million) to provide Ukrainian defenders with interceptor systems and other critical defensive equipment.

Campaign partners emphasized that the need for interceptor drones remains immediate as Russia continues its aerial attacks against Ukraine.

“The sad reality is that the Russians won’t stop. They have to be forced to stop, and this is how we can protect the people here,” said Christian Borys, Founder of Saint Javelin.
