Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin continues to alter the ethnic composition of the population in Ukraine’s occupied territories. He issued a decree that provides social benefits to Russians who relocate to conquered cities and towns, Ukraine’s National Resistance Center (NRC) reports.
The decree applies to the occupied areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Crimean regions.
“Payments are promised primarily to those ‘seconded’ specialists who bring their entire families with them. The amount of money is considerable – from 3 million to 5 million Russian rubles,” the NRC says.
The personnel most in demand for the occupation administrations are those who can erect defensive lines or positions and transport goods, as well as construction workers to “restore” infrastructure destroyed by Russian forces in Ukrainian cities.
“In the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians still cannot complete the formation of their occupation administrations. Currently, the occupiers are looking for traitors to work in the administrations and other fake structures,” the NRC said.
As reported earlier, migrants brought in by Russians were transported to the occupied regions. In the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk, the number of migrant workers from Central Asia and the North Caucasus is increasing.
