Ukraine, together with its closest allies, began the development of a joint declaration on the Ukrainian air shield. The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak stated this during his speech at the Halifax Security Forum in Canada.
On the first day of the International Security Forum in Halifax, the Ukrainian World Congress appealed to Ukraine’s NATO allies to strengthen their support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the face of the growing Russian military threat, as well as to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine to create an effective joint air defense system.
“Since Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure facilities will obviously continue, Ukraine desperately needs an effective anti-missile defense. Very quickly, before the onset of winter. Effective protection of our sky is an important component of security guarantees. That is why Ukraine, together with its closest allies, has started the development of a joint declaration on the Ukrainian air shield,” Yermak said.
