During a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba declared that granting “Ukraine EU candidate status in June would not be a revolution but a recognition.” Mr Kuleba noted that Ukraine will contribute to economic development and food security.
“We will accelerate Europe’s ‘green’ transition by exporting Ukrainian green hydrogen, biogas and wind energy. Together with you, we will promote the digitalisation of Europe. With the strongest and most experienced army in Europe, we will significantly strengthen Europe’s security. We are already doing this, defending our part of Europe and dying for the values we share with you. ”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk said during his speech at the 25th Gazterm-2022 conference in Poland that EU electricity imports from Ukraine will help the EU replace 17% of Russian gas exports.
