Ukraine liberates almost half of captured territories – US

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated almost half of the territories occupied by Russia. The actual percentage is closer to about 45%, the US State Department reported.

“If you include Crimea, it’s somewhere – Ukraine has regained somewhere around 45 percent of its territory.  If you look at the post-2014, not including Crimea, it’s somewhere around 61 percent of its territory since the launch of the full-scale invasion,” Matthew Miller, the Spokesperson for the US Department of State.

Earlier, United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the Armed Forces had liberated about 50% of the territory. In general, Ukraine has achieved incredible success in returning its lands, according to the United States.
