Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), will join the international conference “Ukraine and NATO on the eve of the Vilnius summit: from support through victory to membership.”
The event will contribute to the search for a non-standard solution regarding the format and procedure of Ukraine’s acquisition of membership in the North Atlantic Alliance. Those present will also discuss the possible decisions of NATO member countries on practical ways of strengthening Ukraine’s security in the war with Russia.
“The participation of representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the ambassadors of the member countries at the NATO Headquarters and in Ukraine, high-ranking officials of the North Atlantic Alliance, leading domestic and foreign experts on NATO issues,” the organizers said.
The conference will take place on June 27, starting at 11:00 Kyiv time. The event will be broadcast on Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs YouTube.

The summit of NATO leaders will take place on July 11-12 in Vilnius. There, Ukraine hopes to receive a clear signal about the path to its accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
