UWC Secretary General delivers messages of support from around the world to Kyiv’s Euromaidan
On 28 November 2013 Ukrainian World Congress Secretary General Stefan Romaniw delivered messages of support from Ukrainian communities around the world to the protest movement now known as Euromaidan. Greetings from 24 countries, also displayed on the video screens, expressed gratitude to the young Ukrainians that determinedly demonstrated the nation’s aspirations to join the European Union.
“The Ukrainian World Congress stands firm in its support for Ukraine’s European integration. Not only will integration into the European Union be the best guarantee of Ukraine’s sovereignty and continued democratization, but it will guarantee the European Union access to an intelligent, decisive, assertive generation of young Ukrainians,” stated Stefan Romaniw.
